One connected customer journey

Project walkthrough

How the Spex4Less redesign came together.

Six connected stages show how the work moved between design, implementation and customer communication.

01 · Starting point

Looking at the journey end to end

The previous site established the baseline. The opportunity was broader than visual polish: navigation, hierarchy, consistency and the route from discovery to purchase.

02 · Redesign

Making the design feel consistent

Reusable patterns, a stronger type hierarchy and consistent calls to action brought different parts of the ecommerce experience together.

03 · Discovery

Helping customers choose with confidence

An interactive eyewear quiz turns a wide choice into a more guided and approachable route through the range.

04 · Responsive design

Giving each screen a clear purpose

Responsive decisions were considered as part of the design rather than an adaptation after desktop work was complete.

05 · Communication

Keeping things consistent after purchase

Automated email communication used clearer sections, readable hierarchy and focused next steps to support the customer beyond the storefront.

06 · Printed material

Taking the same approach into print

The same attention to hierarchy and consistency extended into printed collateral and customer-facing promotional design.

07 · Business cards

A consistent identity in every detail

The refreshed visual direction was carried through to business cards, creating a simple and recognisable piece of the wider brand experience.
